Biography

Born in the Netherlands, Stefan “Stayf” van Leijsen has been raised in a musical household. By the age of 4 he attanded the local musicschool to learn "The Basics Of Music Theory". By the time he turned 6, he began to play trumpet; something he hasn't stopped doing ever since. Later on, musical instruments like piano, bass guitar and drums where added to his list. After secondary school he started studying "International Business", but soon found out that he wanted to make a living as a music producer. In 2008 Stayf decided to follow the course "Sound Engineering" at a private school in Utrecht. By the time he received his diploma he already started at the Rockacademie College in Tilburg. Music wasn't Stayf's only blessing. At a young age Stayf found out that he had a talent for economics and business. To expend his knowledge and experience, he's taking classes like "Music Business", "Guerilla Marketing" and Artistsmanagement". Next to composing, arranging and producing, Stayf is also working on a daily basis on making his musical product suitable for the market. Stayf has been known for his drive, diligence and passion for his work. People he worked with like Re-Play, Secure, Kid Fresh, Leo Tan, Jared Grant, Tony Atlanta, Double H and TNT describe him as "a real fighter who knows exactly what he wants". From the beginning of 2011, Stayf decided to focus more on collaborating with international artists. He doesn't want to confine his work field of activty to the Netherlands only; he want to be wherever the people need music!
